PSA About Sending Fanart

If you want to show someone fanart you made for them, don't try to contact them unless they say their DMs/PMs are open

Don't constantly request to follow them if their account is private

They probably saw the first request and you aren't taking the hint

If you know/knew one of their family members, don't try to contact the person through them

It's weird and creepy and unnecessary for just showing someone fanart you drew for them

Just tag the person in your post and they will most likely see it

Even if they don't, constantly trying to contact them just so they'll see your art is really creepy

People love and appreciate it when they receive fanart but you shouldn't have to breach their privacy just to show them

late night drives with stars in her eyes <3

reader has been having a bad week, vinnie takes her on car ride to look at stars.

warnings: angst with proper amounts of fluff (happy ending), mention of depression, let me know if i missed anything.

**before we get into this, i love u all and want u to know im here. i know things are tough but i promise u will be ok in the end. if any of u need to talk my dm's are always open and so are my anon's. i love u <3

i wrote this while listening to adele.... im sorry it took so long btw. i'll be making a post later explaining somethings.

vinnie knows that you are struggling, he can see it even though you insist you're fine. he knows what it's like to be depressed, he knows the pain. that's why he's so gentle with you. he doesn't get mad or upset when you don't want to leave the house which is how it's been the last 2 weeks. he knows you're hurting.

"baby, what do you want to eat for dinner.?" he asks while looking up at you. you roll over in the bed and look at him. he can't help but notice the dark circles under your eyes, the tear stains on your cheek, your lips that are raw from your constant biting on them. even though to most you would like a disgusting mess, to him you're the most beautiful woman in the world.

"im not really hungry vin, just get something for you love." you squeak out having not talked in hours. you roll back over but it's not soon after that you hear him get up. you think he's leaving the room to go see if anyone wants anything, so you shut your eyes.

vinnie walks over to the side of the bed you are laying on and squats down next to you. "baby." he says while laying his hand on your cheek. your eyes open and his heart breaks, he can see the pain your eyes. you both just look at each other for a moment and then an idea hits him. "want to go on a car ride and look at stars my love?" his voice is nothing more than a whisper and his thumb gently strokes your cheek.

"baby, i haven't showered in like three days. i'll have to shower and all that first and then we would leave late." you mutter out trying to give any reason to not go. it's not that you don't want to go, you do. car rides with vinnie and stargazing is your favorite thing to do. your heart and gut are telling you to go but your brain is saying no.

"my love, i know your brain is saying no and making up an excuse to not go. it's only 8 pm we can leave here by 9 or 9:30 at the latest. we can shower together if you want, i'll wash your hair for you! i know you love when i wash your hair." he says while poking the tip of your nose with the tip of his finger. you can't help but smile "i do love it." he say and his heart melts. it's the first real smile he has gotten out of you in days.

vinnie stands while extending an his hand out to you. you look up at him while throwing the blankets off of you and grab his hand. he leads you into the bathroom and you can't help but look at your reflection in the mirror. before you can look for too long vinnie turns you to face him and not the mirror.

"how about you get undressed and brush out your hair and i'll get the water ready." he says while letting you go. you simply nod your head and pull your (his) hoodie over your head. you slip your sleep shorts and panties down, then step out of them. you grab your brush off of the counter and start brushing through it. by the time you're done vinnie is undressed and the water is warm.

he reaches his hand out and you grab it "your shower awaits m'lady" he says while bowing and you can't help the laugh that comes out. "you know look hilarious doing that while naked." you say stepping into the shower. vinnie chuckles at you and steps into the shower closing the door.

you step under the warm shower water as vinnie's hands go up to your hair getting water in it and relief spreads throughout your whole body. vinnie grabs the shampoo bottle on shelf next to you. he places some in his palm and rubs it together before putting it in your hair. he massages your head and you can't help but relax at the feeling. he repeats the process one more time before grabbing your conditioner and running it through your hair. you step out of the water to let vinnie under so he can wash his hair. in the meantime you wash your body and face, you and vinnie finish at the same time. he moves you back under the water so he can wash the conditioner out of your hair.

vinnie gets out first and grabs you a towel, then one for himself. "go sit on the bed baby, i'll grab you some clothes. do you want sweats or shorts?" you asks while leading you to the bed. "mm sweats please but make it your sweats!" you say sitting on the edge of the bed. "of course, want one of my hoodies too?" he asks even though he knows the answer. "yes please" you say while petting hera as she's walked up next to you.

vinnie heads into the closet and hera plops herself down into your lap. you scratches behind her ears and she purrs at you. "hera you're going to have to get off mom, she needs clothes." vinnie says startling you and hera a bit. hera gets up to walk away as vinnie brings you some clothes. you stand up and dry yourself off and start getting dressed. vinnie got dressed in the closet so he's already ready to go. he sits on the bed while waiting for you, he reaches out to pet hera and she swats his hand. "ow cat! what did i do to you?!" he says while rubbing his hand. you can't help but giggle at the interaction, those to have a love hate relationship whereas you and hera is a love all around relationship. "maybe if you gave her more pets and let her lay at the desk with you she'd be nicer to you." you say while pulling the hoodie vin brought you over your head.

"i give her plenty of pets and no she's not laying at the desk with me. she shuts my computer off when i am mid game." he says in a serious tone but you see the amusement in his eyes. hera walks over to you and you pick her up laying her in your arms "you would never do that would hera?" you asks as she meows up at you. "see vinnie she said she would never do such a thing." you say in the most serious tone but your smile shines through.

"put the cat down and let's go on our drive you butthead." vinnie says grabbing his keys off the side table and you set hera down slipping on some slides. vinnie grabs your hand as the two of you walk downstairs and to the garage. "which car do you want to take love?" he asks you. "let's take the rx, she's my favorite." you say while walking to the car door.

vinnie gets in the driver's seat and starts the car, you both buckle up and you get aux. you play your guys' special playlist and relax, you reach your hand over and put it behind vinnie's head scratching the back of his head. your gaze is on the road ahead and vinnie can't help but steal glances at you. he hasn't seen you at such peace in weeks, he knows this won't solve everything that's wrong but he knows how important it is to get out.

the car ride over is spent in silence except for the music and your guys' hums along to the music. vinnie pulls into a small pull out that over looks the whole city of los angeles. "do you wanna get out and sit on the hood or stay in here?" he asks looking over at you. "let's get out, i wanna see the stars!" you say while getting out of the car.

you both walk around to the front of the car and hop up on the hood. vinnie pulls you into his side and you throw your legs across his lap while snuggling in. you two are close enough to the city that you can hear the light roar and it's just that. it's not loud like the city normally is, you aren't getting an instant headache like you normally do.

vinnie glances down at you and can't help but smile, your face is relaxed and you have a small smile on your face, "you know i love you y/n." he says barely above a whisper, it's so quiet he thinks you don't hear it. that's until you glance up at him with tears in your eyes.

"i know you do vinnie and i love you, more than anything in this world. thank you for this, thank you for helping me and understanding me. i spent so long feeling ashamed of my depression and anxiety. you make me feel happy and safe." you say as a single tear slides down your face, vinnie's thumb wipes it away before it can reach your mouth. you both look into each other's eyes for a moment before leaning in. in that moment vinnie swears he can see the stars in your eyes but your lips are on his before he can decide.

the kiss is full of nothing but love and admiration, it's full of understanding and care. it's a kiss that is shared between people in love, not just to people that love each other but two people in love. once you both pull away, a huge smile spreads on both of your faces.

vinnie can't help but think "i am going to marry this girl one day." he knows it's not time yet, you're both still so young but when the time is right he will. the thought brings him anxiety at the mere thought of you saying no but little does he know, he didn't say to himself. he thought it out loud but you have the same thought. you know you will marry him, all in due time.

"Okay MC, I know we just finished 'Swimming Only Leads to Hot Mermaids,' but I was thinking since we are already watching otomes, we should watch another series that everyone is recommending online!" Levi says this as he begins to pull out one DVD and place in another while bouncing on the balls of his feet like an excited puppy.

"I guess I could watch one more series, but it better be a good one. Sure the mermaids were attractive, but there wasn't much of a plot." MC says with a yawn. A quick look over to the clock, and it reads 11:48 PM in a blinding blue light. Not too late for one of Levi's normal bingefests, but a little too late for MC when they have classes tomorrow.

"No, I promise this one is good. Everyone is talking about the art style. They say it is so original that it's captivating." Levi walks to the small futon briskly and plops himself down next to MC as he continues to ramble about the art. His voice slowly trails off as the opening begins to play.

As the music fills MC's ears, they perk up and a small smile appears on their face. "Levi, could this perhaps be, 'I Went to Hell For a Weekend and Got Stuck in a Love Heptagon with Seven Incubi'?"

Levi faces MC in shock. The look on their face is quite smug. (In all seriousness, it reminds Levi of Mammon when he wins poker, but he doesn't want to be think about his brother while looking at MC. So he pushes that thought away.) This anime came out only the day before their bingefest. And even then, Levi had this copy pre-ordered for this very occasion and it arrived before any stores were selling physical copies. There is no way a normie like MC could have heard about its release. Does this mean MC isn't such a normie after all?

"You heard of this show already?" The surprise in his voice was impossible to hide.

"Yeah, I have heard of it." MC smiles and chuckles quietly, "I have never actually seen it, but I have heard the opening quite a few times."

"Oh..." Levi sighs. He was so stupid. Of course MC had heard the opening. It is all over his Devilgram and they were on their phone for part of the last show, so they obviously just heard it on there. Levi deflates looking solemn. It was just a pipe dream that MC would ever be interested in his yucky otaku interests.

"Hey! There is no reason to be all sad just because I know the name of the show. I still haven't seen the whole thing. My first time watching will still be with you Levi, isn't that special enough?" The smile on MC's face seemed sincere enough, but the words that came out of their mouth made blood rush up to Levi's cheeks. Their first... did they really mean to say it like that?...

As thoughts begin to flood Leviathan's head the show began. It was true the art style was captivating. So captivating in fact, that he forgot about his embarrassment. But MC's words still lingered in his mind as he watched the show.

"Well, I am dead tired." MC stands cracking their aching joints as they look at the clock. 2:37 AM. It was that late already? "I think I need to head to bed Levi. I have classes in the morning and I need at least a few hours of sleep."

"Are you sure?" Levi was just starting to enjoy MC's presence. At the beginning of the night, he was on edge trying to make everything perfect. Levi did want to mess up by being a yucky Otaku and give them a reason to leave him all alone. But as the night progressed, (and more snacks were consumed) he felt increasingly more comfortable with sharing his favorite shows with MC. "I have other shows we could watch to pass the time, or we could play this new game I got-"

MC walks over to Levi and gently sets their hands on his shoulders, "Games and anime are great, but what I need right now is sleep." MC watched as Levi's face filled with a blush and his eyes flashed with hurt. "I am not leaving because I am mad... or sad... or anything really. I just need to sleep, Leviathan." Their voice was barely above a whisper as they said his name. How could he disagree with them when they said his name like that; all the while, looking deep into his eyes. He felt like he could explode.

As MC turns away, the demon in question then sighs mutters a quiet "okay" under his breath. "Don't worry, Levi. This isn't the last time I will watch anime with you. I promise we can do another one of these when another new anime comes out." MC begins to pick up their things. A blanket they brought with them to keep warm in Levi's cold room and the rest of their human snacks. "Besides, I really liked that one, and I have heard they are already making season two." As they speak, MC makes their way across the room to the gigantic tank.

"Wait. How do you-"

"Good night Henry. Good night Levi." And with that, MC leaves. Closing the door behind them.

How did MC know about a second season? Even he, the Great Otaku Levi, has not heard about a season two on any forums or on any other website... After thinking about it, Levi suspects it's probably on Devilgram like the opening was. To prove his theory, he pulls out his D.D.D. and opens up Devilgram to the 'I Went to Hell For a Weekend and Got Stuck in a Love Heptagon with Seven Incubi' page. He scrolls through their posts and finds the opening, like he predicted, but what he didn't predict was their most recent post.

"This show would not have been possible without MC. Thank you for making such a great story and great art to go along with it!"

Levi reads the caption once, twice, thrice and is speechless. The photo for this post is none other than his MC standing with a hand drawn piece of the protagonist. He can even see their signature in the corner when he zooms in! He knew that they liked to draw, but he never thought they would make an anime.

Without thinking, Levi gets up and begins to run to MC's room. He needs to know that this isn't some sort of elaborate prank that MC and Satan brewed up to make him like a normie more.

The door to MC's room busts open, "MC!" The room is completely dark except for the light shining in through the doorway.

"Levi...? Is that you? Is something wrong?" MC's voice is soft and laced with sleep. If this were any other time, Levi would have screamed over their cuteness, but today he had a mission. He immediately marches up to the half asleep MC and promptly shoves his phone in their face.

"Did you make 'I Went to Hell For a Weekend and Got Stuck in a Love Heptagon with Seven Incubi'?" MC sits up and squints as their eyes adjust to the blinding screen and look at the post.

"Um... yeah. That's me isn't it?" Silence takes over the room, before Levi begins to scream.

"WAHHHHH! MC, why didn't you tell me!" Thankfully with the phone only being pointed at MC, they can't see the blush spreading across his face.

"Well, I didn't want you to treat me differently because I make anime." Laying back down as they speak, MC tucks a pillow under their head and looks up to where they guess Leviathan's face is. "Besides, I thought it was really cute how you were fanboying, and I didn't want you to stop because you knew you were in the presence of the creator." A small smile makes it's way on to MC's face as Levi feels his own get hotter.

Now covering his face, Levi quickly makes his way to the door while muttering, "You can't just say things like that..." As he begins to close the door, he pauses and opens it up again while looking back, "Can you tell me more about your show tomorrow, MC?" His voice sounds small compared to his previous scream.

"Of course Levi. We can talk for as long as you like."

“Oh, so you just happened to find a diary that didn’t belong to you in your room?”

“Yes!”

“I’ll take it, it probably belonged to the last owner, huh? Plus, it’s not your handwriting, I don’t think. I heard the last owner of this room died or something.”

“Well that’s the only way to get out of this place, I guess,” you rolled onto your bed and Ten sat at the edge of it.

“Let’s see what this person’s life was like,” Ten had a devilish grin on his face when he opened the journal. “Ugh, it’s boring.”

“Let me see,” he handed the journal to you and you opened it to the first page. “I… what is this? Some kind of obsession thing.”

“It’s boring!”

You rolled your eyes and read through the first page.

What Is This?

An exchange of winter themed fics for the Sanders Sides fandom (it's like a Secret Santa just more general winter). You tell me what kind of fic you would like to receive and then I'll match you to another participant who's willing to write it.

How Can I Participate?

This is a fanfic exchange for the Sanders Sides fandom so as long as you can write fanfic for that fandom, you can sign up! We also need betas & pinch hitters (and cheerleaders are always welcome, you just don't need to sign up)!

How Do I Sign Up?

As soon as the sign ups are open (refer to the schedule for the dates), I'll post the link both on discord and on tumblr. To sign up you will have to fill out a few questions in a google form as well as what kind of fic you would like, what you don't want to receive (aka squicks and triggers) as well as what you don't want to write for someone else. For that I'll give you a list of 31 words that you pick from (at least 3, 10 at most). Your matched writer then writes something based on those words (if you pick more than 3, they get to choose which they want to include) and your preferences.

How Does Posting Work?

You post your finished work (min. word count is 2k) on your own tumblr/AO3 and then tag the exchange blog or/and add it to the AO3 collection. With both you have to notify your giftee in some way (tag them in the post, gift it to them on AO3 etc.). If you want you can also post a link of the fic in the self-promo channel on discord although that is not required. Since the surprise is half the fun I ask that you do not reveal who you're writing for until you post your work

Can the fic I write have multiple chapters?

Definitely! There's no maximum word count, only a minimum (2k). Although my personal chapter length recommendation is 500 - 1,500

If I have multiple chapters, do I have to post all the chapters in one day?

Nope! I'd recommend it, but as long as the all chapters are posted and the work is done on or by the last day of posting (Jan 31st) you can spread posting the chapters between multiple days. However, in the author's note, do let people know that the fic is not finished and that it will be completed before or on the 31st of January

Is there anything I'm not allowed to write about in my fic?

Yes, there is a few limitations I've set:

Don't write anything your giftee has said they don't want to receive

No NSFW content

How will I know that my sign up/check-in was received?

I'll DM you via platform of choice* an acknowledgment of sign up/check-in within 24 hours of when you sent it in. If after 24 hours you haven't gotten the message, send an ask or DM letting me know!

Age sixteen – Summer after high school, when we first met

It was a hot summer day when your family decided to take a trip to the beach. The sun was shining, there wasn't any cloud in the sky, and the water was cold enough to cool you down without freezing in it. Many people thought spending that day on the beach is the best idea, including him and his friends.

They were playing volleyball while you were watching them from your towel on the sand. He was gorgeous, a sight to see with his toned muscles and raven hair which was slightly damp from the water. You could hear them laugh, and his laugh was the most beautiful thing you've listened to in your life. He mayhaps felt that you were following him with your eyes because he looked at your way, but even for the love of God, you couldn't look away from him. His eyes were so big, round and shiny you practically melted then and there.

That day was probably your lucky day when the Higher Powers thought you should be happy. The unknown man made his way over to you. He was walking with such confidence. The other females on the beach were under the same spell that you did. "Hi, the name's Jungkook. Wanna go and grab ice cream?"

To which you said yes, and that was the first good decision you've made in your life.

Age seventeen – We'd make out in your Mustang to Radiohead

You don't know how long you've been straddling his legs, maybe for one hour, two – you lost count after the third song on the radio. That day was a rainy one, with thunders and bolts of lightning striking through the sky. Therefore, you decided to drive around, finally coming to a stop somewhere near the beach's parking lot.

At first, you stopped only to eat the food you've bought, but then Jungkook kissed you, and you somehow ended up on his lap, with his hands on your ass. Since then, you've sucked some purple marks on his neck, some were barely visible, and some were, well, quite visible.

"Mhmm, Bubble, I think we should go" His voice was breathy, and his hands were still groping your ass and your tits. He didn't look like he wanted to go at all. "I'm serious, and I said to your dad that you'd be home by 11."

"It's still only 8 PM Koo" You kissed up his neck, took your time at his sharp jawline biting and sucking on his flash there and finally pressing your lips onto his. You've opened your mouth, inviting his tongue for a dance with yours. As predicted, you've lost and were the one being lead through that dance.

"I don't want to get carried away here" He switched the roles, him being the one who was kissing down on you, stopping at your chest, marking you there.

"Could be fun", You answered him cheekily.

In the end, you two stayed in his car, the radio playing in the background, kissing the soul out of each other. That was the second good decision you've made in your life.

Age eighteen – And on my 18th birthday, we got matching tattoos

"You sure you want to do this?" Jungkook asked you, sitting in his car in front of one of the tattoo parlours in the city. The difference with this same parlour was that he got his few tattoos made here, something about one of his friends working here.

"Are you?" You asked back. Truth to tell, you were a little bit nervous. It wasn't like you were getting his name tattooed on you, not even his initials, only the symbol of yang. As cliché as it is, you're each other's other half, with him tattooing ying, you two will always be connected somehow. And if something goes wrong, you won't have something as name specific on your skin.

Only the thought of not having him around makes you depressed, so you quickly made those thoughts fade away. Walking into the building with him, hand in hand, made you much calmer. Both of you chose the places where your tattoos will be. After many discussions, you decided on your wrists, more specifically on the insides of your wrists.

The tattoos got done quickly, considering that a few weeks ago, you were sitting at one of the leather chairs for hours, waiting for your boyfriend. Then,

you were done, you sat in a diner in the back of the room, you put your wrist next to his, and you've never felt happier, ever.

"What's with that smile?" Jungkook asked you, probably with the same goofy smile on his face as what was on yours.

"I’m happy” You’ve interlaced your fingers with his, his thumb stroking the back of your hand with a gentle touch. “What’s with that smile?”

“I’m happy.”

Getting a matching tattoo with him, something that’s going to stay with you permanently, was your third good decision in your life.

Age nineteen – Used to steal your parents' liquor and climb to the roof

“Jungkook, if you fall and break your neck, I’m bringing you back to life so that I can murder you with my own hands” Your voice was full of panic because the idiot boyfriend of yours was dancing on the edge of the roof while being slightly drunk.

He said it’ll be a good idea to try out that cherry liquor that’s in their cabinet, that he’d been eyeing it for months and still nobody opened it. So what other occasion is better than when his parents are away for the weekend, and his girlfriend is over.

“Don’t worry, Bubble. You won’t get rid of me that easily” He was always confident, way too confident. The moment those words left his lips, he slipped.

Thankfully he had good enough reflexes that instead of falling backwards and landing on the floor, he fell forward, with one arm stopping him from breaking his pretty face. “The bottle”, You yelped.

“Thank you, I’m fine” He rolled his eyes at you.

“Who cares about you. There’s a delicious liquor in your hand” Jungkook climbed towards you, sitting down next to you. You grabbed the bottle from his hand and took a big sip out of it. You didn’t even need anything to drink right after the alcohol went down your throat. It was sweeter than sweet.

“I love you too” Instead of answering him, you kissed his lips. You could taste the cherry on them, making you feel even stronger about kissing him. His kisses were addicting even without the sweetness of the cherry, but with it, they were something you didn’t think you could quit.

“Take me to your room.”

Drinking with him that night, making love in his bed with him until the sun came up, was the fourth good decision in your life.

Age twenty – Talk about our future like we had a clue

“Jungkook, what are we going to do?” You were crying for the past hour. Your period is late, and it’s never late. You’ve always gotten it on time, but this time you were scared. “We’re not ready to have a baby. We’ve barely started college.”

“Shhh. It’s alright” Jungkook tried to calm you down. He, too, was panicking, but for your sake, he pretended as he has it together. “No matter what the results will be. We’re in this together, and we’re going to get through this.” And you believed him.

Thankfully the tests came back as negative, all five of them. Two days later, your period made its appearance too. It’s not that you don’t know that you can get pregnant if you don’t use protection. It’s just that you drank a little too much a few weeks ago, and your pill might not be that effective.

You were cuddling on your bed, with Netflix playing on Jungkook’s laptop. Your thoughts were running wild, imagining if you were indeed pregnant. How would they look like? Would they be a she or a he? Which one of you would be the cool parent?

At the last one, you let out a light chuckle, which didn’t go unnoticed by the man beside you. “What’s so funny?”

You looked up at him with a fond smile on your face. “Just… What would have been if I’m pregnant?”

“What do you mean?” He looked confused. “We would’ve made it work, together, of course.”

“No, like… would they be a he or a she? Or like who would be the favourite” He wanted to say something, but you quickly continued your rambling “, That’s not even up for debate. I’m 100% sure if we were to have children, you’d be the favoured parent.”

“Don’t say that. Why would you say that? You’d be their mother,” He told you, but by the smile on his face, you could say, your words went straight to his heart, making it beat so much faster. Also, he thinks the same, somewhere deep in his heart.

“You know if we were to have kids, and if it’s a girl, I want her name to be Aera. I’m not letting go of that name”

“Deal. But then, if it’s a boy, it’s going to be Eun-sang.”

“Deal”

He smiled at you with his big bunny smile, his eyes twinkling like they’re holding the stars in them. “I can’t wait to start a family with you.”

Telling him about your pregnancy scare, which led you two to talk about this topic, was your fifth good decision in your life.

Age twenty-one – Never planned that one day I'd be losing you

It doesn’t matter how much a good decision you’ve made, because you just made your worst, and this one is something that you can’t reverse.

You didn’t want this. You had a long week, you were stressed, you had a headache, and you took it out on him. He was so lovely about it. Even when you screamed at him how useless he is, he talked to you with so much kindness in his voice.

He went out to get your favourite doughnuts when a douchebag of a driver didn’t think about stopping at the red light and collided with Jungkook’s car, hitting the driver’s side of the vehicle.

“Please wake up. I love you. I don’t know if you can hear me or not, but please, you have to wake up. I have so much to tell you.” You were sitting next to his bed for almost a day. You were crying, couldn’t get even a moment of sleep. You set your mind on repeating the phrase, he will be okay.

Except he didn’t turn okay. The machines next to him started beeping, the lines straightening. Doctors and nurses run into the room, trying to bring back the man on the bed back to life. You were screaming, trying to get through the people who were holding you back. “No, please no. Bring him back. Do something. Baby, please don’t go.” A vast scream left your lips when the doctors stepped away from his body and declared the time of death.

You killed him. You were the one who did this to him. The last thing you said to him was don’t bother to come back.

And that was your worst decision in life because he, in fact, never came back.

Age twenty-nine – 8 years later

After Jungkook’s death, all you wanted to do was to go after him. However, you had to stay strong because this time, you were for sure pregnant. You tried to tell him that day, but you never had the chance to. He didn’t even know, although you made sure that your little girl, Aera knew about him. You gave her this name because you felt like this, he had a say in what’s her name’s going to be. You also came to his gravestone with her ever since she turned five.

You didn’t want her to feel like she’s missing out because her real dad is not around anymore, but you also made sure she’s not too attached to him.

You got married two years ago. It was a long process, the heartbreak and getting over Jungkook. If you want to be honest, you don’t think you’ll ever be over him. He was the one for you, the love of your life. No matter what you do, who you are with, the feelings you had for him are only once in a lifetime.

“Mom, if you could do one thing different in your life, what would that be?” Your little girl looked up at you with the same eyes as his father’s. They were even shining with the same brightness as his.

“There’s only one thing. As grateful as I am for your stepdad and this little bean here,” You pointed at your tummy, then looked at the gravestone. “I wouldn’t let him leave. I would make him stay, so I wouldn’t have to say he’s the one that got away.”

*whispers* okay heres the tea. some big er/uri account got into a fight with a lvhn shipper under that zodiac official art post cuz they said that the latter has more basis than ruri so the big account asked them to pm as to why they think that and they messaged them a thread by our resident god levihantrash covering crumbs from manga to the spinoffs, interviews etc. the big account posted screenshots of those on their main(typical ruri behaviour im sorry ahah) and now they are all like "imagine having to consider unofficial stuff and all just to get crumbs for your hc ship" "hange filthy, why do you romanticize levi bathing them" and all that shit they always they say. Its funny cuz they are currently celebrating their ship being canon bcuz an old artist has a song called midnight sun in their new ep(which has nthng to do with aot btw) describing ruri’s bond apparently and we are ones grasping for crumbs lmfao. i hope this isn’t too controversial haha, that ship is cool and all but the shippers are wack. i will try to be objective as possible.

I'm all for being a respectful shipper, staying on the ships' respective lanes, and just hyping the ship and the contents it has - doesn't matter if it is canon or fanon.

in my perspective, both sides are in the wrong. there's this sentence saying "shut up" and honestly, we all need to practice that. i'm not really a fan of ship wars, even though i sometimes engaged in one. they're just draining and i don't have enough energy to deal with it continuously. however, there are just many points that I want to debunk here.

first things first, I honestly don't like eruri. i just can't see the romantic side of erwin and levi's relationship but I still respect it. as a levihan shipper though who has hange's guts in her veins, I wouldn't explicitly say to a public platform that "hey levihan has more basis than this ship" but in a more subtle form of "Levihan Canon As Fuck" and if someone replied, I will just ignore and block them. in my opinion, that's more respectful.

In short, the wrong thing that that levihan shipper did was mentioning another ship besides levihan - furthermore, in a negative manner. it will really attract ship wars, whether we like it or not.

As for that eruri who replied, ya know, if someone dmed me about a topic that is so 'controversial in both fandoms - a topic that always incites ship wars such as what ship is really canon or not - it's time for a healthy discussion. however, I know that I'm in no position to talk cuz I'm not even the one who got involved. but the thing is, dm means direct message - both of you can talk in a civil manner, discuss each other's part of the argument in a healthier way without anyone interfering. but it seems like that didn't happen in this case.

i actually almost made a post about this recently but didn't so i guess its more of an issue than i even realized. SamBucky Secret Santa 2021 Mid-Exchange Update

Hello and thank you to all the incredible people who have signed up for our exchange this year! It's already shaping up to be an amazing event, and in the interests of keeping it amazing for everyone, we thought now was a good time to check in with everyone and clarify some questions you might still have.

Firstly, the check-in: we promise that this is an absolutely no-pressure, very informal thing. All you have to do is fill in a quick Google form about your progress. We'll ask "do you think you'll be able to finish by the deadline?" If you answer "yes," we cheer for you, everyone's happy, and that's that. If you answer "no" or "I'm not sure," one of the mods will get in contact with you and give you pinch-hitter options.

Since we want this to be a fun exchange for everyone, we ask you to be as honest as possible when filling in the form. There's no shame in being unable to finish your fic in time - life happens, and we more than understand. We just need to know ASAP to arrange a pinch-hitter so your giftee can still get their gift.

Secondly: posting instructions. Some of you have already asked what to do about posting when the deadline arrives, so here are the exact details. Fics are due on the 24th of December, by no later than 23:59 (11:59 PM) in your timezone. We'd like everyone to wake up to a Sambucky gift on the 25th!

Everyone has their giftee's AO3 account - please make sure you use the gift function on AO3 to gift it to them. If you're on our Discord server, please post a link to your fic in the #gifts channel and @ your giftee's Discord ID. If you're advertising your fic on Tumblr, please @ their blog name.

When advertising your gift, please also @ this blog and use the tag #sambuckysecretsanta2k21 on Tumblr so we can find and reblog your work. You can also add your fic to the SamBucky Secret Santa 2021 AO3 collection (sambucky_secret_santa_2k21)

I do curse, a lot, but you will never hear me use slurs referencing race, sexuality or anything else. Even though some may apply to me, I choose not to use them out of my own uncomfort.

The same goes for the word 'fat', I'm personally not comfortable with it and I prefer to use: large, bigger bodied, heavyset, etc. I belong to the larger population of the world and 'fat' has been used against me so much that I'm no longer okay using the word for myself or talking about other heavyset persons.

Sometimes I will make personal posts and they may contain things referencing parental abuse, their political standpoint, my own mental health, or just a rant about how much I need to get our of my house. I assure you all that I will be okay when I post these because if I could make it through my bad days before, I can make it through future ones.
